CES 5 at WWT Llanelli

The weather had been rather variable so it turned out that Saturday 18 June was the first day that we were able to do CES session 5. We caught 28 birds and of these 12 were juveniles. We had our first Sedge warbler of the year, an adult, and re-trapped a Treecreeper which we ringed as a juvenile last year. Chiffchaff numbers are picking up although not as many as we were expecting as they are singing all around our ringing site.
